Hi Jill, let your PCP and oncologist know about the cough and difficulty swallowing. My PCP found that post treatment, I had developed nodules on my thyroid. and ultra sound showed them to be small, and apparently benign. The following year, they were larger, but could definitely be identified as non-cancerous. The protocols now is to watch for- you guessed it!- difficulty swallowing, at which point they could be removed, but so far, no issues.

Hopefully, your other symptoms will ease up as you move farther from active treatment. My oncologist said whatever neuropathy I had a 6 months chemo would be my new normal. I was devastated because at 6 months out, it was worse than ever. What he failed to take into consideration was that my targeted therapy for HER2+ (Herceptin) continued AFTER chemo for another 6 months, and it has neuropathy as a potential side effect as well. So, it was a longer process than I had been told to expect. And we all heal on our own timelines. Fatigue went the same way- we all heal on our own timelines. Hang in there! Hugs!

It sounds like you're experiencing several challenging symptoms post-treatment for regional triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Peripheral neuropathy is a common side effect of chemotherapy and may improve over time, but it can persist. Fatigue and night sweats could be related to lingering treatment effects or hormonal changes. Difficulty swallowing and a persistent cough should be evaluated by your doctor to rule out complications. Please consult your healthcare provider for tailored advice.
